The Citepa is an not-for-profit organisation under the 1901 Charities Act comprising members who are legal persons. The members, represented by a person from their entity, elect the Board of directors for 3 years. It is the governing body of the association. It meets 3 times a year. The Board of directors comprises directors who elect the members of the Bureau. The Bureau consists of the President, the Treasurer and several Vice-Presidents. It is the executive body of the association. The president represents the association and ensures its good management on behalf of all members. The Board of directors and its Chairman appoint the Executive director who heads the Association on a daily basis and communicates provisional budgets, commitments and strategic orientations for approval. Members meet once a year at the Annual General Meeting to learn about the management of the association by the report of the External Auditor, the moral report of the president, the activity report of the Executive Director and the financial report of the Treasurer. It votes on the ratification of the Citepa’s management, the decisions taken over the past year and the Citepa’s strategic orientations.
Interaction with the members
The Citepa brings together more than 90 members (NGOs, research organizations, companies, professional bodies, research institutes, measurement laboratories and approved air quality monitoring associations – AASQA). The diverse membership, the frequent consultations, as well as the regular collaborations with research institues and laboratories, complete the in-depth knowledge of the specific issues facing the different branches of the industry, energy, services, housing, transport and agriculture sectors.
The members (and all the people working in the organization) benefit from the “member” services:
- they have access to the Citepa customizable watch on the news,
- they receive individually, and in preview, Citepa’s feature articles,
- they receive individually a monthly and annual summary of the news, feature articles,
- they benefit from personalised assistance on technical and regulatory matters,
- they benefit from personal invitations and reduced prices to attend Citepa’s events and to follow regulatory trainings.
They support Citepa’s activities on a daily basis and allow to know the issues on the field. They participate in exchanges between the administration and the private sector, research and experts.
Our membership policy is based on the diversity of the branches and expertise represented, the complementarity with research institutes and consultancies on the one hand and premium services with information in preview on the other hand.
